Overview

The site is situated on the northern shore of the Firth of Forth and ideally positioned in Central Scotland for access to the motorway network serving Scotland's major towns and cities. Edinburgh and Glasgow are approximately 40 minutes' drive
with the main access via the M9 and M80 respectively.

The site is bounded to the south by the Firth of Forth and the main access from Hawkhill Road and the link road connecting the site to the A977. The entire site is security fenced with an existing and operational gatehouse and there is a small road network serving the majority of the site. The site does benefit from some areas of hardstanding and two piers into the Firth of Forth which are not currently operational.

The site also has the benefit of rail access. The sidings have been used on a temporary basis by Network Rail recently.
