Description

A series of planning permissions and Listed Building Consent for the major redevelopment of the former Strathmartine Hospital contrary to development plan policy. Co-ordinated the original masterplan application in principle, all the community consultation and prepared the full Environmental Impact Assessment.

Outcome

Permission granted for the conversion of listed buildings to 12 town houses, 184 new build homes and 28 affordable homes.

The approval was the culmination of a decade-long planning advisory and appeals process overcoming significant technical, procedural and legal obstacles including Judicial Review and Scottish Government Call In appeal.
